Morning Meltdown 2/100

Well, this morning was workout 2 out of 100. So, you know…2%. It was upper body. I am not a big fan of upper body because of issues with both shoulders. My right shoulder has been an issue for 21 years. Around 16 years ago, I had steroid shots in it for a congenital shoulder deformity. Most in my family have a version of it, including my biological children.

Morning Meltdown 100 – Day 1

So, I am in the first Super Trainer Test Group for Morning Meltdown 100. Although I did prep week (twice), I still feel like I got my ass handed to me today. It was only 28 minutes…of cardio. That’s just eight minutes longer than prep. And I’ve done Insanity Max, 21 Day Fix, 21 Day Fix Extreme, and 80 Day Obsession. I’m down 20 pounds since February of 2019…so it is safe to say I have some level of fitness.

Twas a Long, Dark Night

Both metaphorically and literally…because, you know, it was night. And nights are dark. Although we are in the part of the year where it doesn’t dark until 9 pm or so, it was still long. Fortunately, I spoke with J several times yesterday by text and phone as he traveled to basic. While I doubt he was particularly thrilled with a delayed flight, he did enjoy watching the sunset in Georgia.
