Pissed Off Mom Sues Fortnite Because Her Son Was Irresponsible

Picture this: your kid plays Fortnite…a game that allows in-game purchases to be made. You know, like most online games now…including games on Facebook and games on Pogo. Even I still play on Pogo. Her son, a teenager, uses her debit card, which is linked to his PS4 account to rack up $1,000 in purchases in a single night. But who is mom holding responsible?

Certainly not her sweet, innocent baby boy. And certainly not herself for failing to monitor her child (by, you know, removing the gaming console or not keeping her debit card on file and, I dunno, giving him a prepaid Sony card…that’s what I always did for my my now adult children and do now at Christmas: prepaid Steam cards, Xbox Live cards, etc.)… No, no, no. That just won’t do! Let’s sue Fortnite, instead! Mean ole’ video game maker FORCING her child to do this…entrapment of her child, I’m sure. Instead of, again, you know, monitoring him, his spending, and not having her debit card on the account. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
